WITH TREMCO BARRIER SOLUTIONS

WAUKESHA, Wisc. (April 12, 2005)  Southeastern Wisconsin’s quality leader in poured concrete foundations has teamed up with the national leader in foundation waterproofing solutions. Coello & Associates, Inc., in conjunction with Tremco Barrier Solutions, will now offer the Horizon Foundation Finishing System™, WATCHDOG WATERPROOFING®, and the TUFF-N-DRI® waterproofing system.  Coello & Associates, Inc. is now a trained and authorized Barrier Solutions contractor, and can provide a transferable warranty upgrade of either ten, twenty, or thirty years to their foundations.

Until the recent launch of the Horizon™ system, there has not been an adequate solution to protect foundation insulation from the elements.  The Horizon Foundation Finishing System™ gives home builders an attractive and durable option of waterproof UV protection for full-height foundation insulation.  For proper drainage, the finished grade should be 8” below the top of the foundation.  Landscaping contractors often bring the grade up above this to minimize the amount of exposed foundation, which can in turn lead to drainage issues. The Horizon™ system allows homeowners to maintain curb appeal while establishing the grade at an acceptable height for proper drainage.  Its waterproof nature also gives added protection from moisture related problems.

Foundations can now be backed by a 30-year transferable performance warranty when both the Horizon™ and TUFF-N-DRI® systems are installed.  By offering customers these foundation insulation and waterproofing solutions, builders can differentiate themselves in the marketplace, while increasing the performance of their homes.
