Coello and Associates constructs basement foundation for “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition”
in twelve hours time

 DUNDEE, Wis. (Oct. 2, 2006) “We fulfill people’s dreams.”  This is the long-held company motto at Coello and Associates, a poured concrete foundation contractor based out of Waukesha.  The contractor joined “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” to construct the basement for the Koepke family.

Prior to his passing in August, the Koepke family’s husband and father dreamed of being able to provide his family with a better place to live.  Due to their lack of financial resources, this seemed like a dream that would not be fulfilled.  Now, through the help of “Extreme Makeover: Home Edition” and its partners, the family will see his dream come true.

“We run our company with the core belief that we fulfill dreams each and every day,” said Michael Coello, general manager of Coello and Associates. “You can only imagine how exciting it is to know we have helped make Mr. Koepke’s dream a reality.”

For a typical job, a foundation like the one built for the Koepke residence would have taken a minimum of three days from start to finish for a Coello and Associates’ crew.  Completing the foundation in just twelve hours took more than just fast working crews.  Strategic planning and the use of high-performance concrete with an advanced forming system were key in completing the foundation on time without sacrificing quality.   

“We used the best tools and materials to help make the job a success, but without having a talented and dedicated staff this would have not been possible,” Coello said.  “It took a great deal of careful planning and hard work, but it was worth every minute of it.  It was a truly amazing experience for all of us at Coello and Associates.”
